You can always bring your friendly and sweet dog when you stay at Hotel Skovly.

The hotel is located in the middle of the forest - 125 meters from the beach - and on a 22,000 m2 natural plot.

Only 250 meters from the hotel you will find "our" Safir lake - a beautiful lake where both people and doggies can cool off.

We, and some of our guests, do not want dogs etc in the restaurant when breakfast is served. Not even our own doggies have access during breakfast - but we have many sunny terraces, and our little Krølle-Bølle living room where the doggie is very welcome - and you are always welcome to make a morning tray and eat in your room or on your private furnished terrace...!

We ourselves have 2 Icelandic sheepdogs - Luna from 2016 and Neista from 2020, both bitches.

They frolic around our grounds from 10.00 - and are very happy to meet new friends - they run off-leash and often take a trip in the stream or in the Baltic Sea. They are both barking machines, but we try to silence them....:-)

Your beautiful doggy must therefore not be in the furniture in your room, unless the dog is lying on a dog blanket that is clean!

When the dog goes "to the little house", please clean up after it.

The dog must not be left alone in the room for a long time - not everyone thinks that a barking/howling dog is lovely...!

 

600 meters from the hotel there is a dog enclosure - a 10,000 m2 area where the pooch can run freely.
 

You are also welcome to keep the dog off-leash on our 22,000 m2 - as long as you have control over it. We have a number of deer, ducks, swans, hedgehogs, rabbits and herons who visit us regularly - and they must not be hunted etc.
